Stream new EP 'Poetry (for the scorned and lonely)' here: https://marymiddlefield.lnk.to/poetry Written by Maria Mitterfellner, Anna Borkenhagen & Gwen Buord Arranged by Yvan Vindret Produced by Gwen Buord & Maria Mitterfellner Mixed & Record by Alexis Sudan at A.K.A Studio, Lausanne Directed by Imogen Harrison Lyrics: I haven’t had sex in the past year Not as bad as it sounds That guy I know hits me up sometimes I like him but he doesn’t smell nice I met a man with a tan line on his finger The air was thick in the elevator Always rambling about astrology I believed him when he said he loved me No one’s ever been in love with me “She’s hot but way too needy” “A fresh catch in the middle of the night” “One more reason to swipe right” How did I get to this point? How did I get to this point? I’m sexless and I’m not loved How did I get to this point? How did I get to this point? I’m sexless and I’m not loved I lost the friends that never knew me Started hiding, stopped replying Back in the day, they fixed me up There was always someone down to fuck I’m trying to keep myself busy Alexander’s not part of this journey But there’s only so many songs I can write I’m stuck on these tracks in the middle of the night The train stopped moving a while ago No one cares if I come to the show To some I might feel like a drain A plug who’s there to clog the pain How did I get to this point? How did I get to this point? I’m sexless and I’m not loved How did I get to this point? How did I get to this point? I’m sexless and I’m not loved My mind is high My mood is low My ego’s big My patience’s small My mind is high My mood is low My ego’s big My patience’s small How did I get to this point? How did I get to this point? How did I get to this point? I’m here just pleasing But I’m not releasing My limbs are shaking My body’s aching I’m here self-pleasing Not releasing My limbs are shaking My body’s aching How did I get to this point? How did I get to this point? How did I get to this point? How did I get to this point? How did I get to this point? How did I get to this point? This One's For You Written & Produced by Maria Mitterfellner & Gwen Buord Mixed by Alexis Sudan Lyrics: Laying under blue skies talking to you I haven’t met you yet, someday i’ll get to Knowing me i’d fuck it up My hearts locked in a casket I’m not gonna open it But i’d love to wear your jacket My room is pretty warm though So maybe i have to lose a shoe Or follow some yellow brick road Before finding my way to you ‘Til then This one’s for you You can’t hear me, thinking out loud I know you exist, where are you in the crowd? I can’t shut my eyes when it’s dark You might be right here in the park And nobody’s handing out clues ‘Cause my heart still has that bruise I can’t be bothered to get out there So maybe i have to sell my voice Or cut off all my hair To take one step closer to you ‘Til then I’ll wait for you It’s midnight in my childhood bedroom Hand me a bottle of wine So desperate to fall in love I’m talking to a fantasy groom Hiding in my room, writing songs about you You might not exist, but if you do This one’s for you Video Credits Alexander - Matthew Nikitow Director - Imogen Harrison Producer - James Byfield Producer - Alysha Christal 1st AD - Arizona Eastwood Runner - Jennifer Matthews DOP - Ailsa Aikoa Focus Puller - Irys Steel Second AC - Evangeline Perkins Camera Trainee - Anastasia Radtsenko Gaffer - Al Rice Spark - Marcus Luc Kartal Production Designer - Anna Williams Art Dept. - Ciara Orourke Stylist - Danielle Westwood MUA - Liana Centurion Lifeguard - Faye Marsh Editor - Conrad Bohl Colorist - Nigel Tadyanehondo Production Company - After Party Studios

Mary Middlefield - Band Aid (Official Video)

Band Aid Out Now! Video Credits: DIRECTOR: Sophie Seyd DOP: Ailsa Aikoa GAFFER: Ramzey Sabbagh SPARK: Jacob Campbell FOCUS PULLER: Irys Steel LOADER: Jade Jenkins PRODUCER: Georgia Foxell MUA / HAIR STYLIST: Jodie Bea COLOUR GRADE: Alex O’brien BOY: Ned Prevezer Written & Produced by Maria Mitterfellner & Gwen Buord Mixed By Alexis Sudan Lyrics: No one ever heard A story I’m about to tell The actors were hiding from the audience A little game of hide don’t seek One secret, so unique  Two pairs of glow in the dark eyes Bright scenes and screaming flashing lights A flaming fever within Made nights stop and heads spin  Then it all went down Bet I fucked it up ‘Cause I wanted you around My innocence,  The prize you laid eyes on   I still have sand on my sweater  From those nights you don’t remember When I licked your wounds And you left me stranded The role I played: just a band aid  Two pairs of glow in the dark eyes  Bright scenes and screaming flashing lights  The public still awaits  The show’s already a wake  Now, that the script got scrapped, shredded « We » will never be « We » will never be A question I would like to ask  I would like to ask  Is what were we? What were we? What were we? You keep coming back, showing up Never fully play your part (You keep coming back, showing up  Never fully play your part) Before I’m out tell me What were we? What were we?  What were we? Two pairs of glow in the dark eyes  Bright scenes and screaming flashing lights  The arena burned down The role I played: just a band aid

The Pylons - Mona (Official Music Video)

Stream Mona - https://www.pylonsband.com/mona ---- LYRICS Mona, inside the walls are closing over. Key in the eye of the beholder, Find I can fake it when the time has come, Oh when the time has come. Maybe, your angel wings are getting heavy The world is staring and it scares me, And I don’t know if you can carry on, If you can carry on. All these things that I never said, Your mistakes that I need to get out, get out of my head. Mona, god knows I’m never getting over. Part picture, part-time supernova, And I’ll be with you when the curtains close, oh when the curtains close. Bowie, you make my world turn oh so slowly. Where is your mind what can you show me And I’ll come crawling when you call me home, oh when you call me home. All these things that I never said, Your mistakes that I need to get out, get out of my head. Mona, a rope between so I can’t hold ya. Next time we meet we’ll both be older. If you can make it I will see you there, I will see you there. Save me, jump from your walls you make me crazy. A virtuoso serenading, emancipated by your vacant stare, by your vacant state. The cold paint, is leaving its mark again Your face, a canvas that could contend. It’s always, a matter of give and take, So don’t make, me think that it’s all too late Cause I’ll wait, to see if your colours run A burnt page of all that you’ve said and done So Mona you’ve gotta let me in Mona, inside the walls are closing over. Key in the eye of the beholder, Find I can fake it when the time has come, For when the time has come. ---- Mona was hauled out from between the sofa cushions of our demos folder, an old favourite that took us a long time to bring ourselves to finish and release, for fear of it being gone. Mona is the self-perpetuating narrative that runs through ones mind as you see what you desire at a distance further than can be reached. This track has been strained and filtered through our collective struggles of the past few years and is ultimately a reflection of who we were before through the lens of who we are now.
